Men's Event - Working With Your Hands

Saturday, October 6, 8 am - 2 pm

As men, working with our hands is vital to how we connect with God and each other.

From woodworking, changing oil, to cooking, join the men of CHBC for a morning of service while learning a new skill along the way.

Following the morning of work will be more fellowship over a bountiful lunch (prepared by some of our guys) where a local speaker will give a devotional on faith + work.

who is this for?

All males, 18+. In short, we're looking for those who have experience in one of the 3 below fields AND guys who would love to learn more about those same skills.

  • Woodworking (carpentry)
  • Cooking
  • Changing Oil

What are we doing?

We're assembling 3 groups of guys to do the following:

  1. Change oil and filter in cars/trucks of members of our church family and friends.
  2. Cooking meal packages for widows/people in need as well as the lunch to follow the event (to be served around 12:30 pm).
  3. Woodworking project led by a team leader to instruct you through some noncomplex, basic woodworking tasks.

how do I sign up to participate?

Fill out the form below by September 30.
