The Boiler Room
The Boiler Room is a group of CHBCers serving our local body by interceding during the 9 or 11am service. For now, no registration is required. Please just show up to the prayer room (room 304) and a leader will be there to guide you through an hour of prayer. To find out more, connect with Ryan McKee.
Ways to serve:
Connections - Help people get connected at CHBC! Connections volunteers serve in one of a few different roles:
- Set-Up @ 8am - Responsible for setting up the connections area on Sunday Mornings!
- Door Greeters @ 8:30am or 10:30am - Welcome attenders as they arrive!
- Lobby Greeters @ 8:30am or 10:30am - Float through the lobby to greet people, give directions, and answer questions!
- Connections Desk @ 8:30am & 10:30am - Help newcomers' complete the Connections Card and answer questions about getting involved at CHBC before & after the service!
- Coffee team @ 9:45am: Brew, set up, & serve the coffee in between services!
- Events team @ various times - Help set up for Newcomers’ Lunches and Picnic and Play events.
