Did you know CHBC was instrumental in starting Pregnancy Support Services in 1982? For the past 42 years, CHBC has supported PSS with mission funds, an annual baby bottle campaign, CHBC members have served on their board and others have provided countless hours of volunteer service. Many members are dedicated to being prayer warriors and side-walk counselors instrumental in saving the lives of unborn babies by introducing pregnant mothers to the free services available from PSS.

In recognition of the Sanctity of Life we will be holding our annual Baby Bottle Campaign to support Pregnancy Support Services on Sundays Jan 14, 21, & 28. Pick up empty baby bottles starting January 14 and return them filled with your donation (cash or checks) no later than January 28 at the marked table in the lobby. Your donations will help keep the valuable services of PSS free to expecting mothers in the Chapel Hill and Durham community.

We will have representatives from PSS and other volunteers at the display table to answer questions about PSS & UP ministry, as well as provide information about ways you can help support and promote the Sanctity of Life.

PSS ministers to the Durham and Chapel Hill communities by offering free and confidential services that include pregnancy testing and first trimester ultrasounds. In order to address the bigger cultural issues, we offer education on carrying to term to parent, education on the adoption process, one-on-one mentoring opportunities on setting goals and making decisions, and one-on-one post-abortion support. In addition to meeting women and men in the center, PSS is also in local schools in Durham and Chapel Hill with our healthy relationship presentations.
