As our church makes its way through the book of Genesis on Sunday mornings, we will talk a lot about creation. God's creative power is at work in the world all of the time, preserving all things in being, and his creative design has so many implications for how we live today. But there is another aspect of God's work that we must also address, the aspect that was in view even at the very beginning of time in the events that Genesis recounts: God's re-creation in Christ. Colossians is all about the resurrecting power of God in Christ. It teaches us that we find the purpose of the world and our lives in Christ. We will explore God's resurrection power and what it means for us during our Wednesday night teaching.
